Functions are described briefly below: 1) er_add: Add given tranfer functions. 2) er_blaschke: Perform desired frequency transformation of digital filter using Blaschke products. 3) er_conv: Multiply transfer functions. 4) er_fconv: Convolve transfer functions in frequency domain. 5) er_firlsinv: Find FIR least squares inverse and error. 6) er_fsample: Designs digital filter using frequency sampling approach with optional smoothing. 7) er_fwindow: Designs digital filter using rectangular or raised cosine window. 8) er_iirlsinv_fir: Find IIR least squares inverse and error. 9) er_lpf: Designs prototype Butterworth LPF of given order.

This m file(predictle.m) calculates leading indicator predictions for Discrete Tranfer Function noise models used in the Identification TB. It is used in the same manner as predict.m found in the Identification TB. Predict.m uses the *actual* values of the input variable (u), but this file uses *predicted* values of the input variable (u) to predict the output variable(y). An ARMA model of the input series(u) is, of course, required. This m file was written after consulting with the toolbox author (Prof L. Ljung) and is based on setting up a joint state space model of the transfer function and the input series model.

The function deal2 is designated for multiple assignment. It is an extension of the function deal. The main differences between both functions are: - deal2 need not have equal number of input and output arguments, - deal2 makes all output arguments empty for missing input arguments, - deal2 transfers at most nargout arguments from input arguments, - deal2 may split input arguments into elements and tranfer them to output arguments. - deal2 may decompose matrices into columns and store them in output arguments All superfluous output arguments are made empty, and all superfluous input arguments are not transfered.
