This project is to create small temperature sensors that can be located throughout a house for example, that all transmit their temperature reading via an RF link back to a centralized receiver that is on an ethernet network.

SpeedFan is a freeware program that monitors voltages, fan speeds and temperatures in computers with hardware monitor chips. SpeedFan can even access S.M.A.R.T. info for those hard disks that support this feature and show hard disk temperatures too, if supported. SpeedFan supports SCSI disks too. SpeedFan can even change the FSBon some hardware (but this should be considered a bonus feature). At the lowest level, SpeedFan is an hardware monitor software that can access digital temperature sensors, but its main feature is that it can change fan speeds (depending on the capabilities of your sensor chip and your hardware) according to the temperatures inside your pc, thus reducing noise.

This app uses the humidity and temperature sensors in the Sensordrone to monitor the relative humidity in your refrigerator's crisper.

If used correctly, the crisper in your refrigerator can keep produce fresh for longer periods of time. To do this, the relative humidity in the crisper has to be at an appropriate level for the type of produce being stored. Most crispers only have high, medium, and low settings which do not really tell you much. The humidity can constantly change just from adding and removing produce. Using this app, you can place the Sensordrone in your crisper and view the relative humidity in real time.

The nRF Temp 2.0 is an application for Bluetooth® Smart temperature sensors like Nordic Semiconductor's nRF TEMP sensor. The nRF Temp 2.0 app lets you see real-time temperature data, as well as historic temperature data, in table and graph format. It can also monitor multiple sensors simultaneously.
The application stores temperature value in 5 minute intervals.
