Mondraic is the product of years of work with mathematics, art and computing. It is reminiscent of the pointillist movement in art and others such as abstract expressionism and impressionism. It layers colours across the screen in random dots creating subtle textures and shapes which evolve in rhythmic timing to reveal the underlying complex patterns. The colours oscillate and drift with different timing to create a truly delightful evolution of delicate shapes and bold dynamic colours. It is mesmeric and ebbs and flows like the tides drawing you into a trance like contemplation. Sometimes it resolves itself into large flat plains of colour in what appear to be regular patterns of squares and rectangles with complimentary or contrasting colours.
