Skies of war is a top down plane shooter free ware game which really does reinvent the concept, and add a great deal to it. In skies of war you are a plane tasked with destroying a vast number of bases, enemy units and enemy planes. As you play through the game, you unlock more advanced jets which can hold more weaponry, and more weapons to arm your jets with.

The gameplay of skies of war mainly consists of picking a mission, then watching a brief for the mission, which will show a short cut scene which will explain the mission in detail, including your objectives, and why you are doing it.
