Serial Port Redirector is used to connect a serial application to a remote TCP socket. This allows you to utilize modern hardware COM servers without changing your software or exchange data between a TCP/IP application and an old-fashioned program that can only connect to a serial port. Serial Port Redirector creates a two-way bridge between a serial application and a specific TCP port at a specified IP address. This is done by creating virtual COM ports. When a serial application connects to one of these COM ports, a connection is established to a specified host and all the data from the COM port gets redirected via the Internet or a Local Area Network.

- UDP Serial Port Redirector
- License: Shareware
- Price: 29.95

The Haxxio UDP Serial Port Redirector is the missing link between devices that speak UDP on your network and are thus "connected" to your PC, via an Ethernet port (specifically UDP over IP) and Windows applications on the PC that can only talk to a serial port. Most applications for the Redirector are based on one of (a) Replacing a simple serial connection, either RS232 or RS485, with a network connection, thus simplifying the connection and removing the cable length barrier, up to the point of crossing the planet. (b) Requiring to communicate RS232 over a wireless connection between either PCs, or PCs and terminal servers - Wireless ethernet is much cheaper and more available than wireless RS232.

- Price: 129.95

Serial Port Mapper allows you to map any serial ports to any other serial ports. For example you install additional serial port expansion card to computer as COM7 serial port but your favorite software can work with COM1...COM4 ports only. To resolve this problem you can use Serial Port Mapper to map new COM7 port either to COM1 or to COM2...COM4. Now your software can open COM1 port (or COM2...COM4) but actually work with new COM7 port. Configuration via command line interface is available as well..

- Serial over IP Connector
- License: Shareware
- Price: 99.95

Eltima Serial over IP Connector allows you to share up to 255 serial port devices over TCP/IP network turning your computer into low-cost terminal server. As the result, any serial port device connected to COM port could be accessed from anywhere in the world as if it is attached to local PC. When the attached serial port device sends communication data it will be actually transmitted over TCP/IP network. Such behavior is achieved due to the use of virtual serial port technology which emulates standard COM ports. In that case Windows OS treats virtual serial ports in the same way as real ones therefore you are no longer limited to just two real ports (any number of physical ports you have) per system and may create COM port connections without occupying any real serial port.

- Advanced COM Port Redirector
- License: Shareware
- Price: 49.95

Advanced COM Port Redirector is a professional Windows application that allows you to redirect all data sent from one serial port to any other serial port no matter whether first port is virtual or real one. Second port, created by this program, is an absolute copy of the first communication port (except its name) and is located on the same computer. You will find COM Port Redirector helpful, when for instance you have some conventional serial port device or an application with specific configuration settings that cannot be easily modified. Usually real COM ports available in your system (COM1/COM2 or COM3/COM4) may not satisfy your demands.

- HW Virtual Serial Port
- License: Shareware

HW Virtual Serial Driver is primary designed for HW group devices, but it can be used for free as an universal driver to create a remote serial port, which redirects serial (RS232) data to the predefined TCP/IP address and port. For special applications (ex. GPRS devices) is possible that the PC with the Virtual driver installed can work also as a server, so the connection might be initialized from the external device by sending any data to the remote port. The converter opens the connection with PC and sends the data to the virtual com. The whole situation is quite the same as with a normal serial port, but our device can be as far away as you want HW VSP can not be used to connect two physical ports of two PCs through the network (virtual null modem), because the HW VSP redirector works always with virtual serial ports.

The Serial-TCP program bridges your existing Serial COM port and TCP/IP without the need for changing existing protocol. It works seemlessly and transparently, just like a pair of passive RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 repeaters. The applications of the Serial-TCP program include extending serial (RS-232, RS-485, RS-422, and TTL, etc.) communication distance via TCP/IP; expanding the capability of your existing TCP/IP control software; and analyzing TCP/IP and COM network with the built-in \'Ping\', \'Resolve IP Address/Host Name\', \'COM Port State LEDs\', and \'Data Logging\' tools and features. The Serial-TCP program is also very helpful when you are developing your own TCP/COM control software.

- Serial to Ethernet Connector
- License: Shareware
- Price: 149.95

With Serial to Ethernet Connector you can share up to 255 serial devices over network turning your computer into a terminal server. With this serial over network solution any device connected to a COM port can be accessed and used from any spot on the globe as if it were physically connected to the local machine. The data sent by serial port device is transmitted over a TCP/IP network. This is achieved thanks to our virtual serial port technology that emulates standard COM ports behavior and Windows OS treats the virtual ports as the real ones. Although the ports are treated as physical you are not limited to the quantity of physical COM ports and can create COM port connections without occupying real serial ports.

Network Virtual Serial Ports Driver is an advanced utility, the purpose of which is to emulate null-modem cable on computers located in a TCP/IP LAN or connected to the Internet. In other words, with VSPD Net you can create any number of pure virtual serial ports in your system, which will be connected over TCP/IP network to another computer via virtual null-modem cable. Real serial ports will not be occupied. Example: You have two computers, host1 and host2 for example, connected with TCP/IP networking. You can create virtual serial port COM5 on host1 and virtual serial port COM6 on host2 and connect those ports to each other via virtual null-modem cable.
