This is an application that displays air quality data from the Queensland Department Of Environment and Heritage Protection (DEHP) network of stations in Queensland, Australia, for the closest available hour to the present.

At the moment, it currently displays the worst Air Quality Index (AQI) for the pollutants collected at the station, displays a description of the overall air quality based on the worst AQI reading and whether or not any action needs to be taken for the area surrounding the station. These descriptions are based on what is used in New South Wales, Australia.

The data needs to be cleared after each use.

The Ecosystem Health Monitoring Program (EHMP) delivers a regional assessment of the ecosystem health for each of South East Queensland’s 19 major catchments, 18 river estuaries and nine zones in Moreton Bay.

For over 10 years, the EHMP has produced an annual Ecosystem Health Report Card to highlight whether the health of our waterways is improving or declining. Ecosystem health is assessed against water quality guidelines, resulting in a single grade for each freshwater, estuarine and marine system.

A total of 389 sites are monitored across SEQ and Moreton Bay: 135 freshwater sites and 254 estuarine and marine sites.
