#Calculation Control - The Powerful Calculation Engine #Calculation is an ActiveX control designed for VB6/VB.net/VC++/VJ++/VC#.net. It is a powerful calculation engine for your applications. This ActiveX control integrates expression parsing and evaluating. Generally speaking, #Calculation control is useful in two general areas: first, when a formula has to be defined and evaluated at runtime (for example, if the end user is allowed to enter a formula that will be evaluated and used); second, when a set of formulas that depend on each other are defined, configured, and evaluated at run-time.

- Software Techniques Parsing Tool (STPT)
- License: Shareware

Allows a user to extract (parse) numeric data (tables, lists, numbers) and non-numeric data (words, sentences) from any ASCII (text) file easily and efficiently without the need to program complicated and time-consuming file I/O routines. Uses a generic data parsing model that can be easily adapted for extracting data from both structured and unstructured files. Can be run as a stand-alone executable or called from any ActiveX compliant language. such as Visual Basic, MATLAB, C or C++. When run as an ActiveX (COM) server, the extracted (parsed) data (which may consist of numbers, words or sentences) can be returned as an array.

- wodMailbox
- License: Shareware
- Price: 109

WeOnlyDo! Mailbox is a component that can be easily integrated into your applications to provide full management over mailboxes and message parsing. Using wodMailbox, you can easily access mailbox, count messages, look at messages, count parts, save attachments, look at headers, delete messages etc.. When wodMailBox opens mailbox, it expects to find there either regular mailbox just as is used on UNIX systems (one file with full mail messages one after another) or just one message inside, just as Outlook Express saves .eml files. When you need to parse received messages, it might be hard to check all the possibilities that one simple mail message may contain.

- DParser
- License: Freeware
- Price: 0.00

DParser is an simple but powerful tool for parsing. You can specify the form of the text to be parsed using a combination of regular expressions and grammar productions. Because of the parsing technique (technically a scannerless GLR parser based on the Tomita algorithm) there are no restrictions. The grammar can be ambiguous, right or left recursive, have any number of null productions, and because there is no seperate tokenizer, can include whitespace in terminals and have terminals which are prefixes of other terminals. DParser handles not just well formed computer languages and data files, but just about any wacky situation that occurs in the real world.

S=wiki(str) returns the Wikipedia article for string 'str' S=wiki returns a random Wikipedia article For most articles the parsing is done almost correctly, however there may be minor parsing errors that may occur in the output. Suggestions to improve the code and/or parsing are welcome, with contact information in comments. The input can be any alpha-numeric character, or symbol, including spaces. Entire input is converted to hexadecimal for Wikipedia to read and interpret. This helps with articles that contain special characters. If a redirect exists the redirected article will be returned.

- Error-tolerant parsing of newline-delimited data
- License: Shareware

Adaptive parsing of newline-separated data. Handles bad lines WITHOUT reading line-by-line. Generally, when parsing newline-delimited data, it is fastest to parse all the lines in a single step, using "vectorized" functions like fscanf, rather than looping over the data line-by-line. A single corrupt line in your data, however, can cause your parsing function to fail. When this happens, the easiest workaround is to resort to line-by-line parsing, but this can be extremely slow. adaptive_parse.m provides a means to apply efficient parsing functions to newline-delimited data containing corrupt lines.

Useful if you are considering importing a large amount of taxonomy terms from an external source (e.g. an XML file). Once the module has imported the taxonomy data it will also return the structured taxonomy array, ready to be applied to a node object if you wish. This is purely a utility module for developers looking to import taxonomy data and has no front-end UI..
