This program communicates with an Oregon weather station connected to the computer via its USB port. It also communicates with an I/O USB card from Velleman (VM110) and with a UPS via its USB port or RS-232 serial port in order to detect power failures.

The full clock alarm is a javascript clock with alarm included! It's simple and easy to set. All you have to do is to indicate the hours and minutes when you want the alarm sounds and press the alarm button. The image below the Alarm Status indicates weather the alarm is set or not. The alarm plays for a minute unless you press the button 'Stop snd'. Pressing the button 'Stop snd' change the alarm status as well. The alarm clock can function in background only if it isn't minimized, otherwise you are not able to hear the sound. At this time (February 2007) both Firefox and Opera do not support the bgsound tag that plays the alarm, so it's intended for IE only!.
