Freeware Listing: Stack Based
- Priority First Stack-based Sequential Decoder
- License: Freeware

A stack-based sequential priority first decoder that returns Maximum-Likelihood solutions to M-QAM modulated MIMO system-type problems, i.e., a lattice decoder with optional justified rectangular boundary control. In such problems, the depth of the search tree is known and the number of children per node is also fixed. Real or complex inputs are permitted; in practice, this implementation of the sequential decoding algorithm is near-ML because it operates with finite memory. If that memory is exceeded, nodes are dropped from the stack and the number of such dropped nodes is returned. In addition, this implementation allows specification of the size of the finite memory block (in terms of number of nodes) allocated for its execution.

The ETAC programming language is, arguably, the first of an evolutionary step of dictionary and stack based token activated programming languages, capable of full traditional high-level block structured syntax with the versatility and efficiency of a token activated stack-based language. A token activated programming language operates by sequentially activating text tokens, but not necessarily in one direction only. ETAC is a token activated language that uses sequential reverse-flow activation which activates programmer-determined groups of tokens sequentially from left to right, but the tokens in each group are activated from right to left (reverse-flow).

A stack-based sequential priority first decoder that returns Maximum-Likelihood solutions to spherical LAST coded MIMO system-type problems, i.e., a lattice decoder with spherical boundary control. In such problems, the depth of the search tree is known but the number of children per node is not fixed. The number of children and their associated symbol decisions are governed by the structure of the spherical LAST code. LAST_dec enforces boundary control by decomposing the code generator matrix in a manner that is like a dual to the standard sequential decoding procedure itself. Note that inputs to LAST_dec must be real; in practice, this implementation of the sequential decoding algorithm is near-ML because it operates with finite memory.

- Schnorr-Euchner Adaptive Search Radius Sphere
- License: Freeware

A stack-based sequential depth-first decoder that returns Maximum-Likelihood solutions to M-QAM modulated MIMO system-type problems, i.e., a lattice decoder with optional justified rectangular boundary control. In such problems, the depth of the search tree is known and the number of children per node is also fixed. Real or complex inputs are permitted. The depth-first search is effected by applying the Schnorr-Euchner (Adaptive radius) enumeration to traverse the nodes of the tree. Please see the function pre-amble (type `help SEA_det` at the Matlab prompt) for more details..

- License: Freeware

Cat is a functional stack-based programming language inspired by the Joy programming language. The primary differences is that Cat provides a static type system with type inferencing (like ML or Haskell), and a term rewriting macro language extension language called MetaCat.
Cat is a high-level intermediate language translation that can also be used as a stand alone language for simple application development. In this way it occupies a Similar niche to PostScript. Cat is also an appropriate language for teaching of basic programming concepts.
* C# interpreter and MSIL byte-code compiler - official implementation
* Online Cat interpreter - a Cat interpreter written in javascript.
