- Antenna's Array Synthesis
- License: Freeware

This is an old program (1.999) that I have written for understanding radiation patterns of antennas. Basically I was looking for the relationship between interference diagram (Fourier transform of ilumination, usually called Array Factor) and 3D radiation pattern of the Array. For that reason, it represents XY, XZ and YZ planes instead of H and E. On this version the visible space is not update. On final version (I don't find it), the visible space where delimitated between lines over the interference pattern, and you can see how it varies with distance between antennas and ilumination phase law.

- Fast Deconvolution
- License: Freeware

This function deconvolves one extremely large vector out of another extremely large vector very quickly. Enormous gains in speed are due to the use of two fft's and an ifft. To find out how to use this program, put it in you 'work' folder and type "help fdeconv"..

- Function for finding peaks from data array
- License: Freeware

I was not able to get the peaks from my experimentally obtained data because of its random nature. As a result the findpeaks() defined in Matlab library was not giving results as expected. Hence I made a code which will help findpeaks() help detect the peaks more accurately. It basically averages out the randomness by doing a moving average. Then if we use findpeaks(), it won't give erroneous results. This is the basic operation Data->LPF->findpeaks()->Better results!!(if you are using it for experimental data) Type "help findpeak.m" in your command window after downloading the code. This will help you to understand how the function should be used.

- Flange Effect
- License: Freeware

This is pretty much the standard, jet plane like, flange effect. The input variables may require a little experimentation to get a good hold on. For instructions and an example on how to use this function, put FLANGE.m in your MATLAB work folder and type "help flange" at the MATLAB command prompt..

- matchPurs.m
- License: Freeware

This function is a more robust and improved version of my previous submission, matchingpursuit.m This function computes the projection of a given input vector or matrix onto a "dictionary" of other vectors or matrices using a matching pursuit algorithm. Users may input a vector to be synthesized, or a matrix. The dictionary elements are input as arrays. See "help matchPurs.m". You must also download normColumns.m from the exchange..

- clickfit_OH for curve fitting by eye/hand
- License: Freeware

clickfit_OH.m lets you mouse-click a series of datapoints on top of a (noisy) scatterplot and returns a spline or polynomial regression through the clicked dataseries. In addition the clicked series itself is returned. clickfit_OH.m uses an altered version of ginput.m (ginput_OH.m) that from the first click onward connects the mouse-pointer to the previous mouse click location by a line. USES: * ginput_OH by Oscar Hartogensis (inlcuded in zip-file) which includes the selectable cursor pointer option from MYGINPUT by F. Moisy (../fileexchange/12770-myginput) * Uses (but will function without): --> splinefit.

This file contains 2 functions: bessel_zeros - finds zeros of a bessel function hankel_matrix - generates a structure of data to use for Hankel transforms The algorithm is taken from: M. Guizar-Sicairos and J. C. Gutierrez-Vega, Computation of quasi-discrete Hankel transforms of integer order for propagating optical wave fields, J. Opt. Soc. Am. A 21, 53-58 (2004) An example of beam propagation with circular symmetry has been written in the hankel_matrix help: Type "help hankel_matrix" or "doc hankel_matrix" in Matlab..

This m-file/figure is designed to quickly plot Excel ".xls" files, tab-delimited files ".txt", old Macintosh cricket-graph files with ".txt" extension and MATLAB generated data. Excel file can contain "holes" and "NaN's". Extensive help "help plotmydata" and example files are included. Eliminates the need for Excel Chart Wizzard for line plots..

- Help Tip
- License: Freeware

A "help tip" is a message or instructions that appears only on some pages. This module allows you to create help tips and configure where and how they are displayed. For example you could * show a random tip on every page, or * show a welcome message that users may hide once they've read it, or * use your imagination Features * Node type called "help tip" * One or more blocks where help tips are displayed * Blocks may show one or more help tips, in random order or weighted * Help tips may be hidden so users do not see the same one twice (configurable per-help-tip) This module was inspired by helpedit.
