Freeware Listing: Nodes
- Associated Nodes
- License: Freeware

This module enables to associate nodes according to different criteria such as Taxonomy and CCK fields. You can give a different weight for each criterion. All criteria will be aggregated by the main module which compute a matching score for each couple of nodes. Then, for a given node, you can get the other nodes that are associated to it. The associated nodes are ordered by the matching score they have with the given node. Different associations can be defined with their own criteria and weight. The main module provides an API so you can define your own criteria of association (See How to write a plugin).

- Existing Nodes Filter
- License: Freeware

This module provides a Views filter. It allows the exclusion of the nodes already displayed by another view within the same page. It uses the Views API to deliver proper functionality. The filter implementation arose from the need of having a featured nodes block along with regular nodes without their duplication. Compatibility Works with Drupal 5.x and Views 1.6 only. WARNING At the moment, the list with the created views includes the view that is being edited. Do not select the view you are currently editing!.

- Graphviz Noderef
- License: Freeware

Graphviz Noderef displays nodes as a Graphviz graph/map, with NodeReference fields as edges between nodes. This module is being actively developed, and is currrently pre-alpha. Feel free to use it on a production site, but don't be surprised if it breaks. Usage Install the module as normal. A new tab will appear on every node, which will include a map with options allowing you to change display settings. Currently, the module only displays node-centric recursive graphs (ie. graphs that start with one node, and work out from there, to a given depth). The Graphviz Noderef Field sub-module provides a CCK field that shows basically the same map as the graph page.

- Game Character Node
- License: Freeware

The Game Character Node module provides a structure and API for Game Character nodes on your site. You can set one or more node types to be Game Character types from the Game Character administration page, at admin/settings/game_characters. At that point, any nodes of that type will be set as game characters, which may be activated by the owning user, or any user with administrative permissions. Characters may be activated or inactivated with provided links. Additionally, if the node is created by an anonymous user, and that user later logs in, they may be provided with a unique 'claim character' link which will change ownership of the node.

- Subnodes by Taxonomy
- License: Freeware

This module provides a method to manage one to many relations between nodes using a taxonomy vocabulary to assign meaning to each relation. Only one level of parent/child relationships is actually supported. Child nodes are displayed in tabs on the parent node, and can be created edited, cloned or deleted directly from there. The labels for these tabs are defined by the terms of a particular vocabulary assigned to children nodes. Nodes of a particular content type can be configured to become parents of nodes of another type from the Content Type Edit form. It is required that child nodes are previously configured with a fieldgroup that contains two fields: a node reference that will hold the relation with its parent and a taxonomy field that will hold the term that assigns meaning to the relation.

- Manager
- License: Freeware

Manager is a set of modules focused on "content manager" users, that is, users that maintain the content of a website (adding, editing and deleting nodes, managing comments, etc), but are not site admins (don't have to worry about views, site settings, content types settings, etc). The objective is to let things simple even for users that aren't familiar with Drupal. The Main Manager modules provides a page (generated with Views Bulk Operations) that allow users to easily perform the most common actions related with their nodes. It's replaces the default "/admin/content/node" page. Manager's Bar is an admin-bar designed for users that aren't familiar with Drupal.

- node privacy byrole
- License: Freeware

Manage which roles can view, edit, and/or delete nodes by content type (default) or on a per-node basis (overriding defaults on each node). Also supports changing permissions using Actions. This module is similar in function to Content Access with ACL. Node privacy by role is reported to conflict with the access settings set by Taxonomy Access Control in Drupal 6 and older..

- Views menu nodes
- License: Freeware

This module is discontinued. A Drupal 6 module with the same features is being developed at menu_node_views. This module provides a Views filter that shows nodes according to their position in the menu structure. It can either filter to show children of the current location, or a location specified by menu item ID. For example, you could use this module to make a landing page for an About section: create the view and assign it to the menu as the About item, then assign page nodes to be children of the About item. The view will show the child nodes in whatever format you pick in the view. Views using this filter can also be used in panels to make more complex landing pages.

- Node Radioactivity
- License: Freeware

This module provides hotness metrics for nodes and comments by radioactivity model. In essense, nodes or comments receiving attention are heated while inactive ones slowly cool down. Consider the following example: * Viewing a node adds energy to it * The energy decays at a rate defined by the half-life period. For example, a view is worth 1 energy unit at the time of clicking, 0.5 energy units after one half-life period, 0.25 energy units after two half-life periods, and so on. Thus, by keeping the half-life period short, let's say one hour, you'll get a metric that reflects current node view rate.

- Split Moderation
- License: Freeware

With the built in Drupal fourm module, items are handled just like nodes and comments on those nodes. One shortcomming with this approach is that the permissions for comments also apply to forum posts. What this means is that you can not have moderated comments and un-moderated forums, or vice-versa. This module fixes that. It allows you to select which node types are "always moderated". The basic setup for this is to enable the 'post comments without approval' permission for all roles. You then select which node types should always be moderated at admin/content/comment/settings. Roles that are not allowed to post without approval are handled normally.

- Node Find Replace
- License: Freeware

Allows global case sensitive find replace in node body, node title, cck nodes, file paths etc. Note: file paths is only available in the development snapshot. Running a find replace creates a snapshot so changes can be undone / redone. The Undo / Redo functionality runs off a separate history table, only nodes that changed for a particular find/replace are effected. The find and replace occurs across all node revisions for a couple of reasons. 1. This module was originally written to fix full urls (generated by WYSIWYG's mostly) when moving a site, and I didn't want revision changes to re-break the urls.

The node stack modules allows you to select nodes by navigating around your site. If you find a node you want to alter, simply drag it in the 'Node stack' block. After you found all nodes, you can perform batch actions on them like publishing, unpublishing, promoting or deleting. NOTE: There is no upgrade planned for Drupal 6..
