'Show Desktop' is a small standalone application, inspired by Windows 7 Aero Peek, that creates a small rectangular button at the right side of the user's task bar, next to the clock, which, when clicked, allows the user to minimize all open windows or temporarily make them transparent so the user can &peek& at the desktop. 'Show Desktop' also allows the user to change the application's settings to their liking, so they can make the button smaller or even invisible, or so they can change how windows are minimized. 'Show Desktop' even gives the user to easily shutdown, restart, standby, hibernate.

This is a simple application that runs in the system tray. When you click it's icon, a menu is displayed. You can drag a menu option on-top of any window to perform the specified operation on that window. Options are, Topmost, Non-topmost, Close Window, Terminate Window, Translucent, Minimize Window, Maximize Window, Show Window Normal, Hide Window, Enable Window, and Disable Window. There is a feature for viewing window information and you can capture a window to disk as a bitmap. You can specify child windows, and the application can be set to run each time Windows starts.

Recently, I discovered a neat feature in Visual Studio .NET 2008: when an Intellisense popup is visible, it usually obscures some part of your code.
