Pulse shaping filter program that finds the pole-zero locations of a transfer function, H(s), for a matched filter. H(s) equals a -desired- signal (Yout) divided by a given input signal (Yin). Both Yout and Yin are functions of frequency. Group delay may also be calculated to compliment a given data set, thus, providing a flat group delay. Minimizing Intersymbol Interference in a read/write channel for disc drives by shaping and slimming an isolated readback pulse was the main objective for writing this program. - PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF SYMBOL/CHIP BASED MINIMUM

Current direct sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) system suffer from Multiple access interference (MAI) and Inter symbol interference (ISI) due to the frequency selective channel. This interference can be avoided by use of Adaptive Beamforming. There are two different minimum variance Beamformer configurations for the base station receiver in direct sequence code division access (DS-CDMA) systems, namely a chip- based and a symbol-based configuration. In this paper chip- based and symbol- based configurations are studied. In symbol-based configuration, spatial diversity is exploited after despreading and interfering components are rejected, based on both their power and code correlation with the Signal of interest (SOI).

This is an old program (1.999) that I have written for understanding radiation patterns of antennas. Basically I was looking for the relationship between interference diagram (Fourier transform of ilumination, usually called Array Factor) and 3D radiation pattern of the Array. For that reason, it represents XY, XZ and YZ planes instead of H and E. On this version the visible space is not update. On final version (I don't find it), the visible space where delimitated between lines over the interference pattern, and you can see how it varies with distance between antennas and ilumination phase law.

This program simulates the interference pattern of two Gaussian beams. The simulation assumes that the beams are combined at a beam combiner which tilt angle (along x-direction) is arbitrary. The AOFlagger is a tool that can find and remove radio-frequency interference (RFI) in radio astronomical observations. The code has been highly optimized for speed and accuracy. It is used by default for the LOFAR radio telescope and thus is in productional stage. The software can run in a fully automated way, but a graphical interface is provided to analyse results and tweak the strategy. The preferred input file format is the Casa Measurement Set (MS) format.
I believe that the AOFlagger is the best available flagger, both in terms of accuracy and speed. It has been succesfully used on several interferometric telescopes, including LOFAR, WSRT, VLA, GMRT, ATCA and MWA, and the single dish Parkes radio telescope.

Interference in wireless networks is one of the key capacity-limiting factors. Recently developed interference-embracing techniques show promising performance on turning collisions into useful transmissions. However, the interference-embracing techniques are hard to apply in practical applications due to their strict requirements. In this paper, we consider utilising the interference-embracing techniques in a common scenario of two interfering sender-receiver pairs. By employing opportunistic listening and analog network coding (ANC), we show that compared to traditional ARQ retransmission, a higher retransmission throughput can be achieved by allowing two interfering senders to cooperatively retransmit selected lost packets at the same time.
