Freeware Listing: Desktop Ruler

DoRuler is a simple desktop ruler that allow the user to measure the distance between two arbitrary points. The colors used within software can be easily customized, to ensure the best visibility for any image.

It also allows the user to get the pixel color (hexadecimal form and RGB form) at a position they select.

NOTE: This beta version will remain functional until May 1, 2012. After this date, you
cannot launch it.

Philer Ruler PRO is a handy utility designed to enable you to easily measure anything on your desktop in pixels, inches, centimeters, as well as typographic picas. The ruler works with a range of perfect accuracy due to DPI parameter (original data on your monitor).

You can set the needed markers-serifs, in order to change the orientation of the line, its dimensions and position relative to the screen. By using additional tool Desktop Ruler you can also measure the distance at an angle, and Magnifier (which is added in Informatuion Form) will be an excellent guide for the installation of the main window in the right place.

The temporary objects can be saved as a stand alone application or as a bitmap.
The 'remote interface' transmitts the meassured values to an other application and you can position the ruler from the other application (Windows Message based interface).
