BigSpeed Video Chat SDK is a set of two COM components (Client and Server) that
lets you set up a private video chat network for secure messaging.
The transfered data are scrambled using on-the-fly 128-bit AES encryption. The security is provided in two different modes: symmetric encryption with shared secret key and asymmetric encryption with 1024-bit public/private keys.
The server is responsible for keeping information on and authentication of online peers.
All peers connected to a particular server build a single private community.
There is adjustable video frame quality and motion detection for better video compression
A lot of badwidth can be saved by not sending any frame which is not quite different than the last one.

BIGSPEED Video Compression SDK is a low-complexity, high-performance engine for quick development of video streaming applications. It incorporates video capture and video compression/decompresion in a single COM automation object. The component uses DirectX9 to enumerate the installed capture devices and available capture formats. The used capture format is 24bit RGB bitmaps. The frame rate can be set in the range from 1 to 30 fps. The compression ratio is adjustable and can vary from 50:1 to 500:1. At frame rate set to 15 fps and format selected to 160x120 pixels the output bitrate is 6-8 Kbps.

BigSpeed Secure Socket Library is an ActiveX control that dramatically simplifies and accelerates the development of proprietary communication solutions over the Internet. It implements a flexible message-oriented protocol on top of a single TCP connection. The transfered data are scrambled using on-the-fly 128-bit AES encryption with random session keys, without need of SSL certificates. The security is provided in two different modes: symmetric encryption with shared secret key and asymmetric encryption with 1024-bit public/private keys. Transport level authentication is available with optional digital fingerprints or secret keys.

BigSpeed File Sharing SDK includes two ActiveX controls (client and server) that dramatically simplify and accelerate the development of private file sharing solutions over the Internet. In addition to standard FTP operations, such as upload, download, rename, delete, etc., the library also offers a number of advanced features which give the local application full control over the remote files. The client is able to open seekable streams on the server, either in read-only or read-write access mode. The application can seek, read, an write bytes to the stream as it is a local file. The client is able to run search operation on the server.

The transfered data are scrambled using on-the-fly 128-bit AES encryption, without need of SSL certificates. NAT traversal is implemented by using TCP hole-punching technology. The security is provided in two different modes: symmetric encryption with shared secret key and asymmetric encryption with 1024-bit public/private keys. The hub is responsible for keeping information on and authentication of online peers.
