DiamondCS Advanced Process Manipulation (APM) is an advanced process/module viewer and manipulation utility that allows unique control over target processes by literally becoming a part of them. Take control of a process by becoming a part of it ... Unlike conventional process viewers, DiamondCS APM doesn't control processes by remotely sending them instructions. Instead, APM safely attaches a part of itself to the target process, essentially becoming a part of that process. Once 'inside', APM is free to perform actions on behalf of the target process. For example, if it calls the ExitProcess API function, the target process terminates.

This was inspired after reading "About Face", and after becoming annoyed with modal dialogue boxes. It displays a text box below a uicontrol for a short period of time, before being removed entirely. Its not a "real" tooltip, perhaps more of a "messagetip". I tried http://undocumentedmatlab.com/blog/spicing...ntrol-tooltips/ to try to force the tooltip to appear, but couldn't get it to work. This also doesn't require the use of findjobj, which also takes too long to obtain the java handle. tooltip(hObject, message) Brings up a tooltip with the message for the default 4 seconds. tooltip(hObject, message, displayTime) Can supply a different length of time to display it for.

FUNCTION: sliderHandle,panelHandle,editHandle] = sliderPanel(parent, PanelPVs, SliderPVs, EditPVs, LabelPVs, numFormat) Creates a slider in a separate uipanel, with an associated interactive EditBox, and left and right labels showing the minimum and maximum values of the slider, respectively. Moving the slider automatically updates the textbox, and vice versa. Both slider movement and text edits will trigger (non-recursively) the callback of the slider. The EditBox automatically disallows the entry of non-numeric values, or of values outside of [min,max].
