Bandidos desert is an RPG (role playing game) set in (fairly obviously) the desert. The twist that bandidos desert uses is that the game has a heavy Mexican theme, most strongly noticeable from the title screen text, which is in the colour scheme of the Mexican flag. The Mexican theme is also strong in the choice of main characters and the story, as you play as a Mexican wrestler and his companion, travelling through the desert in a wagon.

Bandidios desert takes a lot of influences and ideas from other classic RPGs, with a retro style menu system, taking the three save concept on from early NES games and other games from that time period.
