Cluster validation is an important and necessary step in cluster analysis. This visual cluster validation tool CVAP based on GUI provides important tools and convenient analysis environment for validity evaluation of clustering solutions, estimation of the number of clusters and performance comparison between candidate clustering algorithms. CVAP includes 4 External validity indices, 14 Internal validity indices and 5 clustering algorithms (K-means, PAM, hierarchical clustering and etc.). It supports other clustering algorithms via loading a solution file with class labels, or by adding new codes.

Microsoft MapPoint add-in that performs cluster analysis on MapPoint datasets. Cluster results can be drawn as map annotation (centroid pushpins and/or cluster boundary shapes) and exported to Microsoft Excel. MPCluster works with most MapPoint dataset types, including pushpins and shaded areas maps. Various parameters can be used to restrict the minimum or maximum size of clusters, as well as the maximum number of clusters to find, and the minimum distance between cluster centers. MPCluster can use data field to either weight cluster centroid locations and/or constrain cluster size. MPCluster can be run multiple times overlaying multiple annotation layers to aid comparisons.

Clustering is known as best process of grouping the comments of similar kind in small size groups into bigger population. It even has extensive application in analytics of the business. The queries facing by businesses is that how to manage great sums of accessible information in significant structures. Or smash the huge heterogeneous populace in small size of harmonized and organized groups. The Analysis of cluster is an analytical tool of the data analysis which aims at cataloging dissimilar objects in diverse groups in the manner which the level of connection among 2 objects is max in the case if they belong to similar group as well as least if not.

MVSP performs several types of eigenanalysis ordinations: principal components analysis (PCA), principal coordinates analysis (PCO), and correspondence/detrended correspondence analysis (CA/DCA). It also does canonical correspondence analysis (CCA), a technique highly popular in ecological studies.
"I found the program very easy to use. The GUI is intuitive and the graphing and report functions are EXCELLENT." - V.A., Panama
It can also perform cluster analysis, using 23 different distance or similarity measures and seven clustering strategies. A dual clustering option lets you produce dendrograms of both variables and cases in one step, along with a copy of the original data matrix, sorted in the same order as the dendrograms.

- Natural Cubic Splines Yield Curve
- License: Freeware
- Price: 0.00

The fitting of smooth curve through a set of data points and extention to this is the fitting of 'best fit' spline to a large set of data points which show the cerrent trend but which do not all lie above the curve. The method involves cluster analysis, that is, grouping the crude data into clusters and seed points are the limites of each cluster. The central for each clustrer become nodes through which a natural spline is fitted. There are five stages nessesary in the cluster analysis and calculation of node positions, summerised as follow: 1. starting with choosing seed points 2. determine two data point which are closest to each seed point (the nearest neighbour pair) 3.

- Pattern Recognition of Company Logos
- License: Shareware

In this prj we attempt to classify a number of Company Logos by assigning to each 2 distinct signatures extracted by a special horizontal and vertical scan of each image matrix. Each Logo picture is truncated to binary after resizing. This is done by the core routine imcount.m, while the main prog testpng.m runs a compelte test and displays results. Traces of each Logo could then be further processed by an appropriate learning system like a Neural Net, an Inference Engine, etc. The entropic-like index used for classification is better explained in the associated report downloadable from http://cag.
