Over fifteen years have passed since we first saw the very new and very exciting Windows Start Menu in 1995, seen in Windows 95. The Start Menu changed only very slightly over the next few released of Windows, however Windows XP in 2001 saw big changes, and these changes become permanent in Windows 7, not to mention Windows 8. Some people  were not so keen on the new style of Start Menu, and this is where Classic Start Menu comes into play. Classic Start Menu is a third party application that can replace the Windows XP, Vista, or 7 Start menu with a more familiar looking menu, so that you can get on with your work without having to work out the new Windows Start Menu.
