This platformer was made in less than 48 hours for the 23rd Ludum Dare game development competition. It is very hard. Run to the goal and avoid saws and spikes.
Controls:
- Tap left/right screen borders to move left/right.

This is a windows phone game MADE IN UNDER 48 hours.

It is a two player turn based strategy (TBS) game in a hot seat style where one player tries to beat the other by either:

1) Destroying all thier apponents units.
2) Dealing 10 Damage to the opponents base by having atleast one unit next to it at the end of turn.

You start with one APC which deals no damage, but can perform two actions a turn. Units are recruited at the end of every turn according to how many bases, bases are captured by having units next to them at the end of turn, you have captured. Results of unit combat are displayed after combat.

Point of interest: There are no 'paths' initially. Enemies lay down pheromones (Ph), and tend to move toward high Ph levels so they build their own path. Towers cannot be placed on 'locked' squares with very high Ph levels. Killing an enemy reduces the Ph level of the square it occupies, so enemies have a tendency to rebuild paths to avoid defences.

This game was made in just under 48 hours for the #MolyJam 2012 game design competition.

Due to time restrictions for development there's no sound and some features we planned to implement (enemies, attacks, etc) never made it in.

This game is based off of a tweet by Twitter user @PeterMolydeux that read "Imagine carrying a radioactive baby in a pitch black environment, your baby would act as a torch. Rocking the baby intensifies the glow etc".

Now that the event is over we may chose to add on and expand this game sometime in the future, but for now download it and let us know what you think!
