Virtual Weather Station is an application that allows you to view the weather forecast on your desktop.

The application can remember more than one favorite location. It displays the forecast for the next three days for the city you select, as well as the wind speed and the current time.

This software allows to receive data sent by external devices as a weather station, a UPS, a webcam, and to look up these data remotely.

This application also allows to define and launch emergency processes when necessary, and this according to user-defined alarm thresholds (temperature, humidity, barometry, wind speed) or in the event of a power failure (if a UPS is connected to the software).

This program communicates with an Oregon weather station connected to the computer via its USB port.

Personal Weather Station is a simple educational project used for learning various skills in electronics and programming.
The station will collect the data using a couple of sensors connected to a micro-controller. Collected data will be uploaded to an online weather server where visitors can see the collected data.
Multiple stations can send data to the weather website and visitors can select which station to see using a simple search or selecting from a map.

You should have 3 files on server:

location file sunbird.txt for widget (optional for sunset and sunrise)

xml and txt file should have same filename.

The widget supports 2 types of file: clientraw.txt and yowindow.xml.

Click the temperature in the upper left corner to configure, click anywhere else to update the display.
