The DotNetNuke™ News Project, also referred to as the 'News Feeds (RSS)' module, allows for the display of a 'news feed' on a DNN page. The current production version (03.01.01) allows for an administrator to select a news feed (an XML resource) and process that with an XSLT template file. The default XSL template in the current distribution was designed for RSS 2.0 feeds. The beta track 03.03.x has been deprecated. Instead the module has been rewritten to take advantage of some of the latest developments in both the DNN and the wider ASP.
