PixelShips Retro is a space shooter designed to look and feel like an old 1980's arcade game, but with many features older 80's games didn't have. There are 160 different PixelShips you can collect as you pilot them through 50 randomly generated maps filled with enemy drones, force fields, volcanos, turrets, and other hazards. The real-time game engine used is just one of the many features that sets PixelShips Retro apart from other retro-styled games. klystrack is a little chiptune composing tool that uses klystron. It is comparable to AHX on the Amiga.

The synth and player routines are designed for creating 8-bit style music and sound effects to be used in games using the klystron (SDL) game engine.

Alternatively, the routines can be easily separated from the engine and used with any sound library that gives direct access to the output wave buffer. This makes klystrack (and the audio side of klystron) a useful sound tool for retro-styled games.

The game is a collection of four games - Speed Lines, Super Blocks, Fast Balls and Real Clicks.
