Software Downloads for "Demo Matlab Compiler"

MATLAB Compiler Runtime is a collection of libraries required for running the applications that are created using MATLAB. This package allows programmers to redistribute applications quickly and securely.

The main purpose of the runtime is to enable users to execute applications without having MATLAB installed.

The MATLAB Compiler (v4, R14 onwards) can package MATLAB code into an executable or C/C++ shared library. Calling a C shared library from Fortran, however, can be difficult. The mixed-language issue is C vs. Fortran calling conventions. This is an example of how to call a MATLAB Compiler-generated C shared library from Fortran..

This example shows how to create a simple application for image viewing and processing, and how to add some MATLAB(R) image manipulation and analysis functionality to it through a MATLAB Compiler(TM) generated DLL. Zip file includes the m-files, Visual Studio(R) solution and project files, and C++ files. Detailed instructions about how to build the MATLAB DLL and how to link it to the Visual Studio application can be found in file Readme.txt. The example application accepts only 8-bit gray-level images, and there is one 8-bit sample image stored in the zip-packet.

The MATLAB compiler toolbox builds native libraries (MEX-functions) and executables (applications) for different platforms. The compiler scripts "mex" and "mcc" offer a user-friendly interface for compiling and linking M, C, C++, Fortran and assembler files. This package adds automatic file versioning and copyright information included in the MEX-libraries for Microsoft Windows. For complete information, please refer to the "Readme.txt" included in this package..

STREVAL('F(y1,...,yn)',y1,...,yn), has the same effect as: FEVAL(INLINE('F(y1,...,yn)'),y1,...,yn) STREVAL has been created as an alternative to inlined functions when you want to compile your M-files with "mcc" command. (Inline objects are not supported in the last release of the MATLABâ„¢ Compiler -Version 3.0-).

This example shows how to wrap a MATLAB Builder for .NET component into a Visual Studio 2005 web service application, and then how to consume that web service on a front end .NET web application. It also shows how to convert a Matrix sent over a web service into a DataGrid on the front end using a DataTable. This is not a full project or runnable code, but rather the pieces needed to create an application like this. Do get this to work you need to use MATLAB Compiler and Builder for .NET to create a deployed component, create a new project in Visual Studio application, reference the component and use the code in the attached files.

This is a dedicated mex-file for use with UMFPACK to efficiently complete the permuted forward/back substitution to solve linear systems, A*x = b when A is sparse and b is a dense vector. UMFPACK is used when the MATLAB function "lu" is called with 4 outputs: [L,U,P,Q] = lu(A, tol); The mex-file provides the solution: x = LUsubs(L,U,P,Q,b); and generally results in a CPU time saving of a factor of 3-4 (On my machine). Type "LUdemo" and "help LUsubs" for more information. A pre-compiled version is included.

FTP clients working behind a firewall often use a passive mode FTP connection to the server to avoid issues with their firewall. MATLAB's ftp object does not have passive mode capability. The attached files modify this MATLAB class to allow for this functionality. These files simply use the Java methods available in the FTPClient Java class used by MATLAB. See installation instructions in the README file. Files/functionss added: PASV(FTP) ACTIVE(FTP) dataMode(FTP) Files modified: @ftp/ftp.m @ftp/private/connect.

Those of us developing graphical applications in MATLAB do not want our users to be exposed to the internals of our work. Unfortunately, the built-in "error" function prefixes to the error message the name of the function which threw that error, which is unlikely to be of any interest to the user and serves only to confuse. This is particularly true when using the MATLAB Compiler to create applications for use by people with no knowledge of MATLAB. The API supplied here provides a wrapper for the "error" function which stores the error message without that extra line, so that it can be retrieved later and shown to the user.

The case study demonstrates how several MATLAB toolboxes can be used together to handle a real-life engineering task. Highlights: - Signal processing of a .wav file with the Signal Processing Toolbox - Automatic generation of a report containing batch data analysis with the MATLAB Report Generator - Identification of helicopters on unlabeled tape recordings, with the Data Acquisition Toolbox and the Instrument Control Toolbox.

The software can be run in either the MATLAB or the Windows without the MATLAB. The motivation of this software is the limited capacity of the imaqtool in saving a video of long time length. The job is completed by taking appropriate numbers of short videos with each less than 10 seconds. Before running the software, make sure that the cameras are connected to the computer and the suitable drivers are installed. The Windows Vista automatically installs almost most web camera drivers for the user when the computer is connected to the Internet.

This example shows how to create a rapid simulation target from a Simulink model using RTW, and then create a GUI, which is then compiled into stand alone application by MATLAB compiler to control the parameters tuning of the rapid simulation file. The generated application are able to run under the machine w/o MATLAB. (follow the intruction in "distributing stand alone application" in compiler manual) Steps: 1) Build the Simulink model using RTW into rapid simulation target. (guide302model.mdl --> guide302model.
