They are used to control almost all hydraulic and mechanical parameters, such as the pressure, pressure difference, angular speed, displacement, angular displacement, strain, force, and others. The electrohydraulic servovalves are mostly multi-stage. This file presents a simulation program of a two-stage servovalve. It includes also a representative model of the servovalve, a second order transfer function.

The remarkable advance in hydraulic and electrohydraulic power systems resulted in producing control valves of very short settling time. The rapid closure of hydraulic transmission lines leads to severe pressure surge. The attached Simulink file is developed to evaluate the applicability of oleo-pneumatic accumulators for the protection against this phenomenon. A lumped parameter model was developed for the transmission line, assuming four lumps, considering the effect of line resistance, inertia and capacitance.

The electromagnetic torque motors are widely used in electrohydraulic servovalves. They serve to convert the control current into a proportional torque. Hydraulic servo actuators (HSAs) are used to precisely control displacement in a wide range of equipment. Generally, a hydraulic servo actuator consists of a hydraulic actuator controlled by a directional control valve of an infinite number of positions and equipped with a feedback arrangement. This simulink file simulated the dynamic behavior of a hydraulic servoactuator. The simulation program is based upon a detailed nonlinear model and a transfer function.
