There are various occasions when you need to decide upon the color by comparing it with other colors visible on the screen. For a web designer, it is more of a day to day activity to decide a color matching to some design on a webpage. This can be done using Adobe’s Photoshop by getting the image into its interface and then by using built-in color picker tool to get the color code of that color but this is not as easy as it seems. However, there is an easy alternative to it; just color picker has made the job of getting the color code from a webpage or any other location remarkably easy.

Just Color Picker is currently available for Windows only.  It is available to download for free in two different forms, viz.  Installer and a zip file. You can download zip file and run it from any storage device on the go or you can install it. Installing it isn’t a difficult process and completes in a jiffy.

The program follows very basic and easy to use approach to do the required task. It follows your mouse pointer and displays the color code and color of the location wherever the pointer points. You can also copy the value to clipboard by a simple mouse click. You can select different color options, display panel options from the built-in options panel.  Zooming in and out facility is also there. Adding to above mentioned features, it is extremely light on your systems’ resources. Overall, it’s pretty decent app and does everything perfectly.

Positive Points:
  -  No installation is required, and is portable.
  -  Extremely user friendly interface.
  -  Does the required task to perfection.

Negative Points:
  -  Limited functionality.

Conclusion:
Just Color Picker is an easy to use yet effective tool that does the job efficiently. There aren’t too many options available, but that can be a favorable point for some. It is useful for everyone who plays with colors and graphics. It is a lightweight app which can be a useful addition to the collection of your designing tools.
