The project MGMAddOn is an extended version of the Open Source Windows CVS client WinCVS. It is designed to simplify some useful functions and also to add new funtionality to WinCVS. MGMAddOn is currently based on WInCVS 1.3 Beta 5 but can be easily porte.

CS-CVS is a CVS client for Windows aimed at both the professional as well as the novice user. With CS-CVS, the complicated setup and resource demanding maintenance of classical CVS clients is virtually gone. CS-CVS is supplied as an add-on to CS-RCS Pro, ComponentSoftware's version control and configuration management solution for software development projects.This solution may be used by Open-Source developers completely free of charge.Main features of the CS-CVS client include integrated visual file comparison, powerful search features, support for milestones and change workflow, built-in support for MS-Word and MS-Excel documents, including tagging, detailed reports, integration with leading development environments and much more.

This Shell Extension integrates the CVS version control system into Windows Explorer. So you have version control right where you need it. There's no need to use the command prompt or to search your files in an different application. The following functions are available directly from Windows Explorer: - columns for Status, Revision, Tag, Options and Author - overlay icons to indicate if a files is modified - context menu items for Update, Commit, Undo, Diff, Add, Remove and custom commands - property page for change history and version tree An external Diff tool can be used for visual file comparing.

TortoiseCVS will let you work with files under CVS version control directly from Windows Explorer. With TortoiseCVS you can directly check out modules, update, commit and see differences by right clicking on files and folders within Explorer. You can see the state of a file with overlays on top of the normal icons within Explorer. It even works from within the file open dialog. You can perform tagging, branching, merging and importing, and you can go directly to a browser web log (using ViewCVS or CVSWeb) on a particular file.
