Duplicate & Same Files Searcher (Duplicate Searcher) is an application for searching duplicate files (clones) and NTFS hard links to the same file. It searches duplicate file contents regardless of file name (true byte-to-byte comparison is used). This application allows not only to delete duplicate files or to move them to another location, but to replace duplicates with NTFS hard links as well

Free program, which allows you to change/replace multiple letters and phrases at a time. It is easy to create and save lists of changes/replacements, so that you can reuse them. You can even paste replacement table from your spreadsheet (e.g. Excel/Calc). wReplace resembles Notepad. Like Notepad, it works with plain text Unicode files. Applications: * Character conversion - changing one set of characters into another. Also, removing diacritics (accents). * Romanization (latinisation) - conversion of a text written in a non-Roman alphabet into Roman alphabet.

XVI32 is a freeware hex editor running under Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP/Vista/7. The name XVI32 is derived from XVI, the roman notation for the number 16. XVI32 and all of its components are developed by myself (except for RxPopupMenu from RxLib which I'm using since version 1.6).

The current release 2.52 is available since April 9, 2011. It comes with a complete online help and requires only 1.02 MB of hard disk space. There is no setup program needed - just unzip the downloaded archive to your hard disk! XVI32 doesn't write any data to your registry.

The findstr is searching the words in the text and binary files in several codepages. The famouse 'grep' is very slow and get a lot memory for large binary files without ends of lines - findstr is fast and light, but it doesn't use regular expressions..

If like me you run an Intranet, firewalls or proxies do not allow you to contact the WordPress.org API, so the only way to have your plugins up to date is to manually delete an old version of a plugin before uploading the new version of it. Plugpdater eases this process by uploading the plugin in a temp directory, checking for errors, and if none were found replacing the old version by the new one. As the plugin will write and replace files in /wp-content/uploads and /wp-content/plugins, make sure apache user has sufficient rights to do it.
