The name NPV of Discounted Cash Flows stands for Net Present Value of Discounted Cash Flows. This free financial calculator determines the present value of an investment property's cash flows and sale proceeds for periods up to ten years. To begin using NPV of Discounted Cash Flows Calculator simply modify a value in one of the white edit boxes. The results of all calculations are determined and displayed in the yellow boxes immediately after an edit box value changes. All results are automatically updated as you change the values in the white edit boxes or click on the radio buttons!.

This Stock Equity Valuation calculator and spreadsheet uses the Dividend Discount Model (DDM) for valuing the price of a stock for a company which pays out dividends. The Dividend Discount Model assumes that the price of a stock is equivalent to the sum of all of its future dividend payments discounted to the present value. The model is simple in theory but have various scenarios due to the different ways that dividends could be paid out. This spreadsheet allows you to value a stock using the Dividend Discount Model in the following scenarios: Price of Stock with Zero Growth Dividends Price of Stock with Constant Growth Dividends (Gordon Model).

This file has been updated as of 12 March. I believe it is now more accurate and more flexible, but it's still not the real thing. JPMorgan's source code has been made available at www.cdsmodel.com, I have not yet compared my implementation with theirs. This program is still based on the paper by O'Kane and Turnbull (available at http://www.nuclearphynance.com/User%20Files/256/cds.pdf ). This routine prices a CDS, taking current market spreads to bootstrap survival probabilities, which imply a "risky present value".
