CUE Splitter is a freeware tool that split a single big audio track, mostly an album or a compilation, into the relative individual audio tracks, using informations contained in the associated "CUE" file. Sometimes you can find a big compressed audio file (for example MP3, APE, FLAC, OGG, WAV, WMA, etc...) equipped with a small "CUE" text file that contain informations about tracks title, artist and length. Usually these couple of files are generated by programs like EAC (Exact Audio Copy), CDRWin, BPM Studio, GoldWave or similar.

CueMaster is the best freeware cue sheet creator. Creating a cue sheet for a CD has never been so easy. CueMaster can retrieve CD track info from the free online album database FreeDB, or recover cuepoints from the MP3 file itself. Cue sheets are hard to find these days. Many download sites and P2P programs offer full CD's in one big MP3 file, but finding the correct tracknames and lengths can take a lot of of time. Burning an audio CD results in 1 long 80 minute track instead of separate audio tracks.

It splits a single big CUE + MP3/WAV file, created with programs like CDRWin or similar, in a series of MP3/WAV files everyone with the length specified in the CUE file. Moreover file names, ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags of the generated MP3/WAV, will contain the appropriated information, extracted from the source CUE file. Files mask allows you to customize the generated MP3 files name. Is possible to associate .CUE file extension with this program. The interface of the program is written in both Italian and English language and you can easily create a new language, writing your own INI language file.
