CopyConf is a service program that manages Cisco router configuration with the aid of the command line. With CopyConf you can send commands to the router to copy configuration files to a NVRAM or TFTP server. You can also use CopyConf in conjunction with a standard Windows NT/2000 task scheduler to set up router configuration backup on your network.

CopyConf uses SNMP for router management. To allow configuration backups with CopyConf, you need to configure the SNMP protocol on the router.

Scripts is a module that allows you to run cmd line, php scripts or both in different ways. You can set a PHP script that will run on every page load, cron runs or by accessing a menu callback for that script. Scripts can be used to automate backup, svn updates or anything else in an easy automated way. It also provides an API for modules to extend its functionality. pwmaker is a simple, small and easy-to-use Python-based Command Line tool that manages to combine a base word with a secret word (phrase) to generate a strong 8 character password.

The resulting password is guaranteed to be 8 characters long, begin with a letter, include at least one number, one upper-case and one lower-case letter, and one symbol from the set { '$', '?', '!', '_', '@' }. These guidelines are chosen for their compatibility with most password systems.
