ExcelliPrint Standard targets budget-conscious administrators with basic passthrough IPDS printing needs, and at just $495 per output destination, Standard is an affordable, flexible replacement for hardware IPDS DIMMs and SIMMs. ExcelliPrint Standard is a software IPDS solution that allows management of multiple Windows printers from a central interface, eliminating the need to deal with different IPDS DIMMs on many printers. Since ExcelliPrint can be updated (when necessary) on a central server or PC, a single change instantly affects all printers in use. Unlike hardware solutions, ExcelliPrint Standard can print to any Windows-based PCL printer regardless of the manufacturer or model. So when an old printer is replaced or a new model or brand is added, printer-independent ExcelliPrint is always compatible: there is no need to update the software or look for a replacement DIMM or SIMM. Both ExcelliPrint Standard and Premium eliminate the need for specialized, expensive IPDS printers by allowing IPDS print jobs to be printed on common Windows-based printers. ExcelliPrint Premium goes further by providing an iSeries interface and can transform IPDS documents into archival formats, like PDF and TIFF.
