- Dual Clutch Transmission Model in Simulink
- License: Shareware
- Price:

This file contains a dual-clutch transmission model built using Simscape and SimDriveline that can be configured for control algorithm development or optimization tests. The clutch states and pre-selection of the gears via dog clutches is controlled by a state machine modeled in Stateflow. Model variants for the transmission and vehicle dynamics can be selected using configurable subsystems. MATLAB scripts demonstrate how to optimize a shift schedule for maximum fuel economy, and how to speed that process using parallel computing. This model can be configured for hardware-in-the-loop testing. Please read the README.txt file to get started.

- Electrical and Hydraulic actuation of an aileron
- License: Freeware
- Price: 0.00

This zip file contains the demonstration model showing a 3-D mechanical model of an aileron actuated with a hydraulic actuator and with an electromechanical actuator. The parameters of the motor are tuned automatically to match measurement data, and the performance of the system is optimized in order to meet design requirements. Finally, implementation details are added, including a controller implemented as an analog circuit and a pulse-width modulated signal, in order to determine the impact on system performance.

This file contains a hybrid-electric vehicle model built using Simscape, SimElectronics, SimDriveline, and SimPowerSystems that can be configured for system-level tests or power quality analyses. Model variants for the electrical, battery, and vehicle dynamics systems can be selected using configurable subsystems. A battery model created with the Simscape language is incorporated into the model. Supervisory logic is implemented with Stateflow. This model can be configured for hardware-in-the-loop testing. Please read the README.txt file to get started. - Hydraulic Valve Parameters From Data Sheets and Experimental Data
- License: Freeware
- Price: 0.00

This submission was created by Valery Tchkalov and Steve Miller to help engineers understand parameterization of hydraulic valves. The included white paper, simulation models, and MATLAB scripts cover the structure of a valve model, examples of how to use optimization algorithms to tune your valve parameters so that your simulations match characteristics on manufacturer's data sheets, and how to use experimental data to determine realistic parameter values. The power stage and control device of valves are discussed, and the models include steady-state, transient response, and frequency domain examples. Please read the README.txt file to get started. For an explanation of valve modeling and several of the examples contained in this submission, please watch, 'Hydraulic Valve Parameters From Data Sheets and Measured Data'...

The models in this zip file can be used as tutorial examples. They are the models used in the Physical Modeling Hands-on Workshop events offered by the MathWorks. The examples here are models in Simscape, SimMechanics, SimDriveline, SimElectronics, SimHydraulics, and SimPowerSystems that you can build starting with an empty Simulink model. One example focuses on the Simscape language. There are also examples showing you how to use these tools with Simulink Design Optimization, and Stateflow. - Real-Time Simulation of a Hybrid-Electric Vehicle
- License: Shareware
- Price:

This file contains a hybrid-electric vehicle model built using SimElectronics and SimDriveline that can be configured to run in real time. Double-clicking on subsystems in the model will configure the model for desktop simulation (variable-step solver) and for real-time simulation (fixed-step, fixed-cost simulation). This model is designed for hardware-in-the-loop testing. Please read the README.txt file to get started.

- Wind Turbine Model
- License: Freeware
- Price: 0.00

This file contains a wind turbine model. It includes a three-dimensional mechanical model of the tower, nacelle, and blades modeled in SimMechanics, hydraulic pitch actuators, electrical yaw actuators, a simple generator and electrical grid model. There are a number of supporting models included that show how to develop each of the systems separately and integrate them into the overall model. The level of fidelity for each subsystem can be varied as you work through the design. To use this example, you will need to read the README.txt file. Run the script, 'startup_Wind_Turbine.m' to get started. Watch this four part webinar series to learn about this model: http://www.mathworks.com/programs/wind_tur..._webinars/?BB=1
