Akane (Japanese: ??) is a music player that I started coding to toy around with PyQt4's Phonon module. It's vaguely like Amarok 1.4, but has a greatly-reduced feature set. As I learn more about PyQt4, I'll be adding in more features as I see fit, possibly making Akane into a fairly-substantial application. Akane is hereby released under the MIT license. The compiled binaries are currently made using cxfreeze with the following option: --include-modules="moodbar,stagger,PyQt4.QtNetwork"

- PieNovel

PieNovel was specially built to be an Open-Source, Command Line-based visual novel engine that has been coded in the Python programming language.
To most users, CommandLine stuff may sound scary at first, but PieNovel attempts to make it relatively-straightforward.
It makes use of a relatively-simple event syntax and currently supports choose-your-own-adventure-type novels, scripting, loading pages in your default web browser, player name entry, custom gender-specific pronouns, and loading of custom Python modules.

- Ryouko

Ryouko is a simple PyQt4 Web browser. It was originally designed to run on Linux, but a Windows version is now available as well. Ryouko was coded purely for fun, and is currently missing a lot of features. Therefore, it is *not* meant to replace your default Web browser, nor is it intended for serious usage or people who need a stable, dependable, and fully-featured program. However, it should be okay for very basic Web browsing.
Features:
Able to record browsing history. Unfortunately, there are no bookmarks, and clearing the history does not work 100% correctly.
Stores cookies between sessions, and also allows the cookies to be cleared out. When clearing out the cookies on Linux, Ryouko performs a "shred -v" operation on the database for added privacy.
Supports private browsing mode as of 0.4.4.
