It lacks a parental control section, which can irk users who need to monitor web usage habits of their kids. Neither does it offer any cross-platform protection. However, the company sells Android anti-virus app as a separate package.

With AhnLab V3 Internet Security, you can opt for customized and entire system scans. It integrates with Windows explorer so you can scan files and folders individually. The scan speed is not particularly impressive. It is also a tad disappointing that the suite scans lesser number of files compared to segment rivals. The redeeming aspect is the app does not tax PC resources much when a scan is in progress.

You get a decent amount of help files in this app. In the company website, you can access the FAQ as well as technical support information.

It is quite unacceptable that a commercial Internet security suite does not come with an integrated parental control module nowadays. Its slow scanning speed and inclusion of fewer files in scan process can make advanced users skeptical. Those who want a user friendly IS app for basic protection, can consider it.
